"My goal is to create original and special designs that stand out"

All the jewellery is handmade creations of Emmanuela Alevizopoulou or a special selection of her. We only take photos of the originals, many of which are not reproduced if natural materials have been used for the production, which cannot be found in the same shape or texture. The pieces that can be reproduced are to a good extent true to the original - but of course it is not possible that the pieces are identical to the original.

Each of our pieces is therefore unique!

Even if the design is the same, the attentive observer will discover many differences in the details.

Through many years of experience in jewellery making, experimenting with new and advanced techniques and knowledge of the properties and origin of the materials used, Emmanuela has been able to express herself through her creations. Her jewellery is an expression of her thoughts and feelings. If the things we choose to wear suit our psyche and mentality, if they have a story to tell, our outfit is complete and becomes the key element of our personality. Our ring, our pin, our earrings tell something about us without words.

"I believe that the most beautiful things are hidden in simplicity. That's why I don't think much before I start designing a new piece. Often I don't even make a drawing... I just pick up my tools and trust my instincts."

It's strange, but the inspiration for the most successful designs comes from everyday life and nature themes. The designs strive to be original and simple and have high aesthetic value, while at the same time radiating familiarity and warmth. The bond we often feel with the things we wear is created by their directness and our identification with them. Emmanuela creates each piece in the hope that someone will love it. Therefore she creates with her soul rather than with her hands. After all, the greatest artistic creations come from a deeper part of us that lies outside the sphere of influence of cognitive thinking.

Emmanuela does not believe that handmade jewelry should be expensive just because it cannot be reproduced in large quantities. Everything a person makes with their hands is unique and their evaluation is always subjective. For some it is a masterpiece, for others it is just a Additional construction.

The most important thing about jewellery is that there are people who want to wear it and who can. This is why Emmanuela prefers a realistic and humble approach when determining the value of her works, even though they are invaluable to her personally!

In addition, the Internet in general and emmanuela.gr in particular give her the opportunity to interact directly with her customers. Therefore the pieces are not overpriced for commercial profit and remain in the low price segment - and accessible to everyone!

"After I have given shape to a piece that I have imagined and designed in my mind, I usually feel like a small child. I show it to everyone and feel great joy when I can see in his or her eyes that they like the piece. By making jewellery that people like, I am fulfilling a dream of my childhood. For me, the most beautiful reward is to see happy people wearing one of my creations or giving it to a loved one!"
