About us

The jewelry "emmanuela" are original handmade creations by the silversmith Emmanuela Alevizopoulou. Emmanuela was born in 1984 in Athens and from a young age cultivated her artistic nature, engaging in painting and crafts.

As a teenager, she realized that through jewelry making she could combine her creative abilities with her love for beauty and aesthetics, creating impressive pieces with usability, durability, and real value. Thus, she decided to study the art of jewelry. At the same time, she started working as an assistant craftsman in one of the most important workshops for handmade silver jewelry, where alongside a successful craftsman she learned the secrets and techniques of silversmithing.

Today, after her four-year studies at the school and from the 12 years of experience she gained as an assistant and craftswoman, she aspires to create her own success story!

The "emmanuela" jewelry are all handmade. Earrings, bracelets, pins, rings, necklaces, pendants, as well as wedding crowns, decorative items for the carafe and the ceremony glass, and also for the bombonieres. The metals used as a base are mainly silver, bronze, and copper. They are decorated with semi-precious stones, pearls, corals, leather, feathers, down, enamel, and other natural materials. When the designs and manufacturing conditions allow, the silver parts are rhodium plated or gold plated with 24K gold, so they do not "blacken" and are more resistant to knocks and distortions. Even for the dark parts, black rhodium plating is applied. This eliminates the need for continuous maintenance and polishing.

The physical store "Emmanuela - art from silver" is located in Nea Chalkidona Thessaloniki at 15 Gymnasiou Street, where the workshop is also housed. There you can see up close all the exhibits presented on emmanuela.gr and be informed by their creator about their manufacturing process, materials, and techniques. You can also place special orders for jewelry that Emmanuela will help you design yourself!
